Queen of Philippine Movies Ms. Susan Roces

ABS-CBN's Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection returns to television screens to spread fright and chills through its third and last installment titled Florinda led by Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

The first two installments of Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection presented TV versions of two classic Philippine films in the horror genre, Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara and Maligno that starred the Queen of Philippine Movies Susan Roces.

These two installments marked not only the return of Susan Roces to the television screen, they also initiated the comeback of two other brilliant actresses, Box Office Horror Queen Kris Aquino and Teleserye Queen Claudine Barretto.

The TV versions of the horror films introduced to viewers Chelsea, the possessed doll in Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara and the demon child Angelo in Maligno--turning these two characters into pop horror icons.

The actors' performances and the overall quality production of the two horror series earned commendations, and fans continue to talk about them.
