Andrew Kaczynski is really a piece of shit for his war on Ron Paul (check it out, Andrew loves to hate this guy). For all of you too dense to understand, Ron Paul is making a holistic anti-war argument: We send our sons overseas to kill innocent civilians on BULLSHIT suspicions (because of our nation's disgusting military industrial complex) and then give them common anti-depressants to quell the psychological trauma that they've endured, expecting that to fix the problem. So, you may not see mental health the same way he does? Does that mean his point is entirely invalid? Or do you think the way we ship young men off to fight bullshit wars is okay? Do you think the way we approach mental health in this country is okay? Yep, let's not think for ourselves. Let's just parrot the words of staunch Anti-Paul: "Ron Paul is crazy! War is cool! Yeah, Buzzfeed!"
And, if we're going to discuss the insanity that is the Paul movement, he disagrees with national parks. Say it with me, "he disagrees with national parks." I realize that you're still in high school or just starting college but, well, national parks are kinda important. You know, for a lot of reasons. Biological diversity, future generations connecting with their natural environment, and overall public good.
And, yes, to a large degree Paul is blaming psychotropic drugs for much of the ills of society in order to keep support for lax gun laws. Because, when it comes right down to it, its easier to attack some imaginary critter than deal with the fact that we allow PTSD filled soldiers have weaponry. Or, for that matter, any number of mentally ill individuals. Do you know what I call that? Crazy talk.
