Maine native Clifford works way into NBA’s head coaching fraternity at Charlotte

There was never much doubt about the general direction of Steve Clifford’s career path even Cheap Nike Air Max LTD III before he was old enough to truly consider his options.

“I very much grew up in a basketball family,” said Clifford, who was born in Cheap Nike Air Max Lunar Island Falls and lived in Mattawamkeag until his third-grade year when he moved with his family to Vermont. “My father was a high school coach, and my mom knows more basketball than most people will ever know.”

That path eventually led him back to Maine, first to study and play basketball at the Cheap Nike Air Max Skyline II University of Maine at Farmington and then to his first coaching job at Woodland High School.
