(ASCA) - Roma, 13 nov - In merito alle odierne dichiarazioni dell'Amministratore Delegato di Telecom Italia, Metroweb, tramite il suo Amministratore Delegato Alberto Trondoli, conferma che con Milano prende avvio il progetto di realizzare collegamenti in fibra ottica direttamente all'utente finale. Trondoli conferma, inoltre, il piano di sviluppo in 30 citta' italiane sempre con tecnologia FTTH nell'arco dei prossimi 4 anni. A breve si avvieranno i collegamenti a Genova (acquisto gia' finalizzato di Sasternet), Bologna, Torino, Brescia, Padova e Como. ''Saranno collegamenti in fibra ottica nuova e non in rame obsoleto - si legge in un comunicato - se i cittadini italiani vorranno usare il web in tutte le sue potenzialita' (ivi compresa la TV) lo potranno fare solo con la fibra ottica ed allo stesso prezzo dell'attuale rame di Telecom Italia''.
