The rules of the 3rd edition of the Cosmos Cup

The registration is opened from monday 8 until to sunday 14 January The first 24 teams will be accepted, but it is possible that the tournament is widened to the maximum number of 28 teams.

The registration can be made only from monday 8, in two ways:

- mail to cosmosfederation@libero.it

- ht-mail of Dr_Sleepnight of the Maserada Cosmos

Indicate:

- name of the team

- series

- position in chart

The calendar will be introduced monday 15 January.

From thursday 18 january the friendly can be organized as you have always made on Hattrick respecting the programming.

The Cosmos Cup will begin the 23 - 24 january.

The smaller equipe will play at home always, that is those that are in the inferior series and the position of classify more lowland, however in the calendar the teams will be indicated that they will have right to play in his stadium.

The teams can themselves also be come to an agreement in order to play in an other stadium.

When envoys the demand for the encounter, informed the adversary through ht-mail.

Who not accept the challenge between thursday morning and saturday morning, will endure a defeat for 5 to zero and consequently the adversary will obtain the three points.

This will serve to giving the possibility to the adversary to organize a friendly one. In any case informed Dr_Sleepnight of the Maserada Cosmos of every problem.

If we are in 24 teams like the old edition , there will be four groups calls with the names of four old players of New York Cosmos:

- Randy Horton

- Carlos Alberto

- Hubert Birkenmeier

- Ricky Davies

The groups will be composed from clubs, more or less, of the same series.

Therefore in the group Randy Horton will meet the stronger Cosmos teams, while in the group Ricky Davies will play the teams of the inferior series.

Every victory means 3 points, the balancing 1 point, defeat 0 points.

Five matches garanteed !

The winner of every tournament will be established in the following order:

- points totals

- difference goals

- greater number of goals

- direct match

The four winners of every group will go in semifinals ( 27 - 28 February)

In this case it is obligatory to organize the friendly match with the cup rules.

The successive week the finals for the 3 place and 1 place ( 6 - 7 March)

Also in semifinals and in the finals it will be given to the smaller teams the right to play at home.

The Cosmos Cup is closed after 7 weeks at the same time with the last game of championship.

All the matches will be brought back on the blog.
