China iPhone sales reached 696,000 units in August this year

Apple iPhone has entered into the Chinese market for more than three years, but Apple and its carrier partners never disclose their sales data.

According to the Chinese market Shiner report, in August this year, the domestic iPhone sales has reached 696,000 units. The Phone 4S sales to 515,000 units which sales accounted for 74%; iPhone 4 sales of 18.1 million units, accounting for 26%. WCDMA version and CDMA version of the iPhone 4S sales of 319,000 units and 196,000 units, respectively are 45.8% and 28.2% of the total sales of proportion iPhone.

In August this year, the overall size of the domestic mobile phone market of 24,062,000 units, an increase of 8.4% qoq; 3G mobile phone sales of 18,596,000 units, growth of 11.4%, more than 77% market share.
