Consuntivo del 2014

Ciao Amici,
facciamo un breve consuntivo dell'anno appena trascorso

Per quanto riguarda l'aspetto economico l'Onlus ha raccolto circa 3600 euro, meno rispetto agli scorsi anni ma, fortunatamente, abbiamo avuto anche meno spese da quando abbiamo escluso la partecipazione ai corsi di terapia intensiva: come detto altre volte, abbiamo abbandonato questo genere di corsi sia per i costi proibitivi e quindi l'impossibilità di effettuarne diversi ogni anno, sia perchè abbiamo visto che la terapia ABR, che da due anni svolgiamo, già da sola ha dei benefici consistenti su Luca. Ovviamente si potrebbero cercare altre strade di cura, ma al momento non abbiamo l'intenzione di addentrarci in nuove situazioni dal carattere soprattutto sperimentale.
A consuntivo dichiariamo spesi 5700 euro durante il 2014, di cui potete vedere il dettaglio nella tabella SPESE e DONAZIONI, 2014.

Non sappiamo ancora invece quanto abbiamo raccolto attraverso il 5 per 1000, perchè i proventi ci saranno comunicati e provvisti nel corso dell'anno 2015.
Provvederemo a farvi sapere i risultati di questa raccolta, ed a promuoverla nuovamente anche per il 2015. Grazie a tutti per il vostro supporto! 

Per quanto riguarda Luca: abbiamo notato miglioramenti dal punto di vista della partecipazione alla vita sociale, familiare e scolastica; ultimo in ordine di tempo il riscontro avuto dal suo modo di rispondere positivamente alla richiesta di dare la mano quando gli viene chiesto da chi gli sta' accanto (vedi il video).
Ma il ragazzo ha migliorato molto anche la postura, per cui ora riesce a stare seduto da solo per lungo tempo senza perdere l'equilibrio, ha imparato a bere bene dal bicchiere, deglutendo senza grossa fatica e senza tossire, quando fino all'anno scorso beveva ancora prevalentemente attraverso una siringa.

Luca ha raggiunto dei risultati importanti e, andiamo avanti...cercando di utilizzare al meglio possibile tutte le donazioni che raccogliamo e lavorando ogni giorno per migliorare sempre la situazione di Luca, il nostro e vostro Super Luca.

2014 FINALS

Hello Friends,
we make a brief final of the past year

As for the economic aspect the non-profit organization has collected about 3600 euro, less than in previous years but, fortunately, we also had less expenses since we excluded the participation in the courses of intensive care: as said before, we have abandoned this kind of courses for both prohibitively expensive and therefore impossible to carry out different times every year and because we have seen that the therapy ABR, that for two years we carry out, alone already has substantial benefits for Luca. Obviously we might find other ways to care, but at the moment we have no intention of going into new situations, especially experimental ones.

At the end we can declare we spent 5700 euro during 2014, of which you can see the detail in the table and DONATIONS EXPENSES, 2014.

We do not know yet what we have instead collected through 5 for 1000, because the proceeds will be disclosed and provided in the year 2015.

We will let you know the results of this collection, and to promote it again for 2015. Thank you all for your support!

About Luca: we noticed improvements in terms of social partecipation, within family and school; last in order of time the response was out of his way to respond positively to the request to give the hand when asked (see video).

But the boy has also been much improvement posture, so now he is able to sit alone for a long time without losing balance, he learned to drink well by the glass, swallowing without big effort and without coughing, when until last year drank still predominantly through a syringe.

So Luca reached importantant results and, we are moving on ... trying to make the best use possible all the donations we collect, and working every day to continuously improve the situation of Luca, our and your Super Luca.

Dammi la mano

Di questo 2014 ricorderemo tante cose che hanno riguardato Luca: come per l'anno precedente abbiamo smesso di seguire corsi di terapie intensive, ormai non più presenti in strutture in Italia ma solo nell'est d'Europa e, vuoi per i costi proibitivi, vuoi per il fatto che per mantenere gli effetti benefici di certi trattamenti bisogna effettuarli più spesso di qualche volta l'anno, continuiamo a svolgere il lavoro domestico con l'ABR e quello svolto nel centro terapico Boggiano Pico e, ancora in casa, con l'aiuto di una terapista due volte la settimana.

Il filmato che potete vedere qui rappresenta forse il primo vero segnale di comunicazione effettiva tra noi e Luca, un gesto fatto rispondendo ad un esplicita richiesta, che non siginifica l'unico che Luca è in grado di fare, ma quello che più di ogni altro è comprensibile da parte nostra, perchè sicuramente Luca comunica sempre con noi, con le persone estranee alla famiglia, coi suoi insegnanti ed i bambini a scuola, attraverso piccoli gesti che non sempre noi siamo in grado di comprendere, ma ci sono.

Da qualche settimana Luca ha imparato a dare la mano quando gli viene richiesta e questo è il gesto che consideriamo essere simbolicamente più importante per questo anno che stà finendo e che, nonostante tante traversie e problemi avuti in casa, ci ha visto comunque sempre il più possibile attenti alle necessità di Luca, per il quale continuiamo a credere in un futuro sempre migliore.

"Dammi la mano" è l'invito che facciamo a Luca, ed è l'invito che simbolicamente facciamo fare da Luca a tutti coloro che lo seguono nei suoi progressi.

GIVE ME YOUR HAND

This 2014 will remember many things that concerned Luca: as for the previous year have stopped following courses of intensive therapy, no longer present in structures in Italy but only in Eastern Europe and, either by the prohibitive costs, or looking for that to maintain the beneficial effects of certain treatments must be carried out more often than a few per year, we continue to carry out domestic work with the ABR and the one played in the therapy center Boggiano Pico and, still in the house, with the help of a therapist twice a week.

The video you can see here is perhaps the first real sign of effective communication between us and Luca, a gesture made in answer to a direct request, which is not the only siginifica that Luke is able to do, but that more than any other is understandable for us, because certainly Luca always communicates with us, with people outside the family, with his teachers and children at school, through small gestures that we are not always able to understand, but there are.

For some weeks Luca has learned to shake hands when he is required and this is the gesture that we consider to be more important symbolically for this year is running out and that, despite many hardships and problems we had in the house, we saw always the most can focus on the needs of Luke, for which we continue to believe in a better future.

"Give me your hand" is the invitation we do to Luke, and is the invitation that we do symbolically by Luca to all those who follow him in his progress.

ABR - Terza visita del Dr. Blyum

Ciao,

questa settimana siamo stati a Verona (Pescantina) per la visita del Dr. Blyum (l'inventore del metodo ABR) su Luca. A due anni dall'inizio dell'applicazione di questa terapia, che si svolge completamente a casa, i risultati ci sono stati e sono progressivi. 

Questa volta ho fatto nuovamente notare che che su Luca è piuttosto arduo eseguire alcuni esercizi per i quali deve rimanere in posizione prona, per cui il Doctor ci ha proposto alcune varianti da applicare in modo da rendere comunque efficaci gli esercizi anche se Luca nel frattempo si muove e quindi non mantiene la posizione ferma: in pratica si tratta di applicare alcuni esercizi in modo passivo, lasciando a Luca la possibilità di muoversi un pò mentre si fa pressione sulla parte trattata...stiamo a vedere come andrà nei prossimi mesi, perchè il ragazzo cresce ed un pò di forza ce l'ha :-)

Qui potete vedere alcune fasi della visita (video n.1 e da n.3 a n.10), il video n.2 che è una vera e propria lezione che il Doctor ha tenuto a noi ed ai suoi collaboratori terapisti, alcuni filmati con gli esercizi previsti da qui in poi su collo, spalle e torace, compreso quelli in cui il Doctor sembra voler schiacciare Luca col suo "dolce" peso (video n.9 e 10); in tutto 12 filmati per raccontare quasi tutto quello che abbiamo imparato mercoledi' scorso con Luca.

ABR - Third visit by Dr. Blyum

Hello, 

This week we were in Verona (Pescantina) for the visit of Dr. Blyum (the inventor of ABR) on Luca. Two years after the application of this therapy, which takes place entirely at home, the results we have been and are progressive. 

This time I did that again note that Luca is rather difficult to perform certain exercises which must remain in the prone position, so the Doctor has proposed some variations to be applied in order to make effective the exercises, however, even if Luca in the meantime moves and then do not stay still: in practice this is to apply some exercises in a passive way, leaving Lucq the opportunity to move a little while ago pressure on the treated area ... we'll see how it goes in the coming months, because the boy grows and a bit of strength have it:-) 

Here you can see some stages of the visit (video n.1 and n.3 to n.10), the video n.2 which is a real lesson that the Doctor gave us and his collaborators therapists, some movies with the exercises from here on the neck, shoulders and chest, including those in which the Doctor seems to want to crush Luca with his "sweet" weight (video n.9 and 10); around 12 movies to tell almost everything we have learned last Wednesday with Luca.

Mauro e Super Luca

In visita da Romeo e Giulietta

Ciao, oggi sono stato dalle parti di Verona, a Pescantina, dove si
riuniscono i papà e le mamme dei bambini che devono fare la terapia
ABR, per imparare gli esercizi da fare nei mesi successivi.
Lì vicino abitavano Romeo e Giulietta e l'anno scorso, una di quelle volte
che ci siamo stati due giorni per il corso, ero anche andato a vedere il
famoso balcone a loro dedicato, ma oggi no, siamo partiti alle 8 di
stamattina da Genova e siamo rientrati in serata, in pratica ho visto
soltanto il locale dove hanno fatto il corso e dove mi hanno rivoltato come
un calzino: prima per farmi le foto per confronto con quelle dello scorso
anno, e poi per provare i nuovi esercizi: guardate questa foto qui sotto,
non vi sembra che abbia voglia di scappare? riesco persino a tener su
la testa e non è poca cosa per me, una cosa che prima di applicare
questa terapia non potevo neppure immaginare di riuscire a fare.

Da domani e fino ad ottobre dovrò sottopormi ogni giorno per due ore a
questi trattamenti, su tre punti diversi della schiena e del torace, sulle
tempie e le braccia, che per la prima volta cominceranno ad essere
trattate.

VISITING ROMEO AND JULIET

Hello , today I was by the parties of Verona, Pescantina , where gather
the fathers and mothers of children who have to do therapy ABR , to
learn the exercises to do in the months ahead .
Romeo and Juliet lived near there , and last year , one of those times
we were two days for the course, I also went to see the famous balcony
dedicated to them, but not today , as we left Genoa at 8 AM this
morning and in the evening we came back , I saw in practice the only
place where they did the course and where I have turned as a sock :
first to make me the photos that will be used to make the comparison with
those of last year, and then to try new exercises : look at photo below ,
where it seems I want run away ! I even keep my head up and it is not
a normal thing for me , one thing that before I applied for this
treatment I could not even imagine be able to do
From tomorrow and until October I will apply for each day for two hours the
treatments provided for three different points of the back and chest, for
temples and arms , which for the first time will begin to be treated .

LE MIE SCARPE NUOVE

Finalmente, dopo più di un anno siamo riusciti ad avere delle scarpine
ortopediche coi tutori per poter far stare in piedi sulla statica e fare gli
esercizi di fisioterapia in piedi a Luca. 
Finalmente, dopo due tentativi andati a vuoto, con il terzo siamo riusciti
ad avere delle scarpine che Luca potrà usare ogni volta che avrà voglia
e bisogno di stare in piedi o fare qualche passo, anche soltanto per non
restare sempre seduto.
Finalmente, dopo aver speso inutilmente tempo e soldi per due volte a
Genova, ed aver fatto spendere male i soldi della ASL ligure, abbiamo
speso bene tempo e soldi nostri e della ASL, per andare a Torino ed
avere, in soli 15 giorni !!!, un paio di scarpe più i tutori che servivano,
facendo spendere molti meno soldi alla ASL ligure (circa un terzo, 480
euro ca. anziche oltre 1200 euro) 
Eppure c'è qualcosa che non va: non va il fatto di aver dovuto andare a
Torino, da un ortopedico dell'ospedale Regina Margherita piuttosto che
rimanere a Genova col Gaslini, non va il fatto di aver fatto spendere
molti meno soldi alla ASL per avere un prodotto che doveva costare
uguale se prescritto dal Gaslini, non va il fatto che a Genova abbiano
sbagliato due volte le prescrizioni preparando delle scarpe e dei tutori
non adatti e mettendoci dei mesi per averle, mentre a Torino le hanno
fatte giuste al primo tentativo ed in soli 15 giorni!!!
Certo abbiamo dovuto fare due trasferte, con relative spese di viaggio,
ma potevamo andare avanti a sperare che un giorno avremmo avuto
quello che serviva a Luca, continuando nei tentativi, e per quanto tempo?
Che qualcuno si faccia pure avanti a contestare quello che ho scritto qui,
che mi dia del polemico, del disinformato, del contestatore irriconoscente
delle strutture pubbliche genovesi, così avrò modo di produrre anche le
relative ricevute a conferma di quello che qui sta scritto.
Rimangono il dispiacere e la fatica di dover andare a cercare altrove
quello che dovrebbe essere provvisto vicino a casa (e chi ci segue da
un pò ricorderà che per un intervento ai denti andammo a Firenze
perchè il Gaslini non poteva effettuare l'intervento) bilanciati almeno
dalla soddisfazione di aver trovato una soluzione, anche se, come per
questa volta, anche per le prossime dovremo continuare a muoverci
fuori Genova....
E tanto per rendervi conto del fatto che non stiamo parlando di cose
extraterrestri, ecco qui sotto la foto delle scarpine e dei tutori

MY NEW SHOES

Finally, after more than a year we managed to get the shoes with orthopedic
braces to be able to stand on the static and do the physical therapy exercises
standing for Luca.

Finally , after two failed attempts , the third was able to get the shoes that
Luca can use every time he wills and need to stand or take a few steps , even
if only to avoid being always seated.
Finally , after spending unnecessary time and money twice in Genoa , and
have done evil to spend the money from the Ligurian ASL , we spent good
time and our money and ASL , and have to go to Turin , in just 15 days ! ! ,
a pair of shoes guardians who served , making a lot less money to spend
Ligurian ASL (about € 480 approx. instead of over 1200 Euros ).
Yet there is something wrong: the fact that we had to go to Turin, Regina
Margherita, an orthopedic hospital rather than stay with the Gaslini in Genoa ,
the fact that we did spend a lot less money for the ASL having a product that
would cost the same if required by the Gaslini , the fact that from Genoa we
had wrong twice prescriptions and the shoes and guardians were not suitable
for Luca, and putting months to get it, while in Turin got them right on the
first try and in just 15 days !
Of course we had to make two trips with the cost of travel , but we could go
on and hope that one day we would have had what was needed to Luca ,
continuing in many attempts , and for how long?

Someone gets ahead and challenge what I wrote here , which gives me
argumentative, the uninformed , the protester ungrateful public facilities in
Genoa , so I will have to produce the related receipts confirming what is
written here .
Remain the sorrow and trouble of having to look elsewhere than it should
be provided close to home ( and those who follow us for a while will remember
that for dental work we went to Florence because the Gaslini could not
perform the operation) at least balanced the satisfaction of having found a
solution , though, as this time , even for the next we must continue to move out of Genoa....

Una visita a Torino

Ieri sono andato a Torino, a trovare alcuni amici che avevo conosciuto in Slovacchia e poi rivisti a Lodi, durante le mie precedenti esperienze di fisioterapia intensiva: siamo stati da loro a pranzo e poi nel pomeriggio mi hanno portato, ovviamente con mamma e papà, da un dottore che non avevo mai incontrato prima: un ortopedico che lavora all'ospedale Regina Margherita e dal quale sembra che altri bambini come me di Genova siano stati in visita. Ci sono andato perchè da più di un anno non riesco ad avere un paio di scarpe ortopediche adatte, nonostante ne abbia bisogno perchè sopratutto il mio piede destro ha bisogno di essere indirizzato e sostenuto meglio di quanto non riesca a fare da solo e perchè dovevo anche farmi fare un controllo generale, specie per le anche.

Già, pur essendo passato per ben tre volte dal Gaslini nell'ultimo anno ed aver fatto richiesta di plantari, scarpe e tutori, non siamo mai riusciti d avere qualcosa che funzionasse a dovere, quindi con spreco di tempo e soldi da parte del Gaslini e dell'azienda che supporta le richieste per gli ausili di questo tipo, e col risultato di non avere quello che mi serviva e serve tuttora.

Ieri questo dottore mi ha visitato e mi ha mandato subito anche a fare "i piedi di gesso" da un signore molto premuroso e che ha fatto di tutto per farmi sentire a mio agio.

Ora, se l'ASL di Genova approverà la richiesta, dovrei riuscire ad avere finalmente tutori, plantari e scarpine che da tanto non ho, motivo per cui non posso neppure eseguire i miei esercizi di postura in piedi nel modo più corretto ed utile in cui dovrei, non potendo avere l'appoggio corretto ed il sostegno necessario dalle caviglie.

Speriamo bene, vi farò sapere come andrà a finire :-)

A VISIT TO TURIN

Yesterday I went to Turin, to find some friends that I met in Slovakia and then revised in Lodi , during my previous experiences of intensive physiotherapy : we were by them at lunch and then in the afternoon they took me , obviously with mom and dad, to a doctor that I had never encountered before : an orthopedist who works at the hospital Regina Margherita and from which it appears that other children like me coming from Genoa.

I went there because for over a year I can not have a pair of orthopedic shoes suitable , although I need them, especially because my right foot needs to be addressed and supported better than I can do alone and because I had also me to do a general check up , especially for the hips.

Yeah, despite being passed three times by the Gaslini last year and have applied for orthotics, shoes and guardians, we were never able to have something of that function properly, therefore a waste of time and money from the Gaslini and company that supports requests for aids of this kind, and with the result of not having what I needed and still need.

Yesterday this doctor examined me and sent me immediately to make even "the feet of chalk " by a gentleman very caring and did everything to make me feel at ease.

Now, if the ASL og Genoa approves the request, I should be able to finally have braces, orthotics and shoes so much that I did not, which is why I can not even do my exercises in standing posture in the most correct and useful way as I don't have the correct support for my feet and the support needed from the ankles.

Let's hope so , I will let you know how it turns out :-)

Questo è il volantino che abbiamo inviato ad esercizi commerciali,
professionisti ed enti pubblici e privati, della zona in cui risiediamo,
con l'invito ad aderire alla donazione del 5 per 1000 e ad esibire
il volantino per pubblicizzare l'iniziativa verso tutti coloro che
abitano e si servono nella zona.

Vogliamo allargare i nostri orizzonti al di fuori dell'ambiente famigliare.
Vogliamo allargare le nostre possibilità di intervento verso situazioni
che stanno nell'intorno della nostra associazione.

This is the flyer we sent to commercial businesses, professionals
and public and private entities, the area in which we reside, with
an invitation to join the donation of 5 by 1000 and to exhibit the
flyer to publicize the initiative to all those who live and serve in
the area. 

We want to broaden our horizons outside the family environment.
We want to broaden our possibilities of intervention to situations
who are in the neighborhood of our association.
We want to help those who, like Super Luke, need help.

I risultati del 2013, gli obbiettivi del 2014

Siamo alla fine del 2013, anno di grandi cambiamenti per Luca, merito soprattutto della
terapia ABR che ha iniziato nell'ottobre del 2012 e che in poco più di un anno ha visto
cambiare molto Luca, a livello di tonicità, capacità respiratoria, forza ed equilibrio.

Rispetto a quanto previsto un anno fa, non abbiamo più sottoposto Luca ai cicli di
terapia intensivi presso i centri specializzati (ultimo quello di Treviso in novembre
2012) non per mancanza di fiducia nei loro mezzi ma perchè abbiamo preferito
concentrarci sulla sola ABR, evitando un surplus di fatica per Luca e di spese per noi.
Durante il 2013 Luca ha quindi svolto tre sedute settimanali di fisio e logopedia presso
il centro Boggiano Pico di Genova, due sedute di fisio a settimana a domicilio e la
terapia ABR tutte le sere a casa, per mano di chi vi scrive.
A fronte di un preventivo spese, prima di 13000 euro, poi di 8500 (tolto il ciclo
intensivo), siamo arrivati a spendere 7675 euro totali (sono state fatte 60 sedute di fisio
a domicilio rispetto alle 80 previste, per malattie o altre cause di indisponibilità di Luca
o della terapista), supportati da ben 6328 euro di donazioni (vedi dettagli nel box SPESE e DONAZIONI). 

Alle spese per le terapie, quest'anno abbiamo aggiunto la spesa di 2063 euro per
l'acquisto di una rampa (con soldi non provenienti dalle donazioni!), posizionata nell'atrio del condominio per scavalcare 5 gradini esistenti tra l’ingresso ed il piano ascensore (la rampa è utilizzabile da tutti coloro che ne abbiano bisogno per il passaggio di carrozzine e passeggini).
Nel 2013, dallo scorso settembre, Luca ha anche iniziato ad andare a scuola e, da gennaio 2014, sistemando opportunamente gli orari delle terapie al Boggiano, potrà frequentarla tutti i giorni fermandosi anche a pranzo, per la gioia di tutti i compagni e degli insegnanti, che lo hanno accolto con grande favore.

Nel 2014 continueranno le stesse terapie effettuate nel 2013, quindi Boggiano, ABR e fisio in casa.

PRENDI NOTA: Per regolamentare le donazioni abbiamo ormai da quasi due anni dato vita alla ONLUS “AMICI di SUPER LUCA” che dal 2014 potrà anche usufruire delle donazioni fatte attraverso le dichiarazioni dei redditi, col versamento del 5 per 1000!
Se non sai già a chi donare il tuo 5 per 1000, donalo alla ONLUS di Super Luca, indicando il codice fiscale 95155840101, e dillo ai tuoi amici, parenti e conoscenti!!!
 
La nostra intenzione come ONLUS è quella di utilizzare i fondi sia per le terapie di Luca, sia per l’acquisto di ausili logopedici e pedagogici che Luca potrà utilizzare a casa, al centro Boggiano ed a scuola; avendone la possibilità, sarebbe nostra intenzione acquistare e donare simili ausili sia al centro Boggiano che alla scuola, che ne sono sprovvisti ma che risulterebbero davvero utili per l’uso con altri bambini quali strumenti di tipo pedagocico.
 
Concludo ringraziando tutti coloro che ci hanno seguito e ci hanno aiutato sin qui: le terapiste e la dottoressa del Boggiano, la dottoressa Mara Sartori, la fisioterapista Ambra, i terapisti del metodo ABR, e tutti coloro che attraverso le donazioni spontanee e l’organizzazione di eventi per raccogliere fondi, ci hanno permesso di alleviare il peso totale delle spese fatte nel 2013.

Augurandoci un 2014 foriero di nuovi risultati per Super Luca, auspichiamo che lo sia anche per tutti quanti ci hanno seguito sin qui e ci seguiranno anche nel nuovo anno.

The results of 2013 , the goals of 2014

We are at the end of 2013, the year of big changes for Luca, especially about the ABR therapy that began in October 2012 and in just over a year has seen much changes for Luca, at the level of firmness , respiratory capacity , strength and balance.
Than expected a year ago , we no longer subjected Luca to cycles of intensive therapy at specialized centers (the last one in Treviso in November 2012), but it is not due to a lack of  confidence in their means but because we have chosen to focus only on the ABR, avoiding a surplus of effort to Luca and expenses for us.
During 2013 Luca then carried out three weekly sessions of physic and speech therapy at the center of Genoa Boggiano Pico , two sessions of physic a week at home and ABR therapy every night at home, at the hands of this writer.
Faced with a cost estimate before of 13000 €, then to 8500 (taking off the intensive course) , we got to spend 7675 euro total (60 seats were made of physic at home compared with 80 planned for diseases or other causes of unavailability of Luca or the therapist) , supported by as many as 6328 Euros in donations (see details in SPESE e DONAZIONI box).
Apart the expenses for therapies, this year we added the cost of 2063 Euros for the purchase of a ramp ( not with money from donations !) located in the lobby of the building to climb 5 steps between the entrance and the elevator floor ( the ramp is usable by all those who need it for the passage of wheelchairs and strollers ).
In 2013, since last September, Luca has also started to go to school and, by January 2014, suitably arranging the schedule of therapies to Boggiano , he will be able to attend every day, and having lunch at school canteen too, for the joy of all their classmates and teachers , who welcomed him with great favor.

In 2014 we will continue the same treatment carried out in 2013, at Boggiano, and with ABR and physic at home.

TAKE A NOTE: In order to regulate the donations we have now nearly two years given rise to the NGO "AMICI di SUPER LUCA" which from 2014 will also benefit from the donations made through tax returns, with donation of 5 per 1000 !

Our intention as a NGO is to use the funds both for Luca’s therapies and for the purchase of teaching aids and speech therapy that Luca can use at home, at school and in the center Boggiano and, given the opportunity, it would be our intention to buy similar aids to donate to the center Boggiano and to school, as they do not have them but that would be really useful for their use with other children as instruments of pedagogy.

I conclude by thanking all those who have followed us and helped us so far : the therapists and the doctor 's Boggiano, the Dr. Mara Sartori, the physical therapist Ambra, the therapists of ABR, and all those who through voluntary donations and the organization events to raise funds, have enabled us to relieve the burden of the total expenditures made in 2013.

Hoping for new results for Super Luca in 2014, we hope that it is also for all those who have followed us so far and will follow us into the new year.

EPPUR SI MUOVE

L'ultima visita fatta all'Ospedale Gaslini in settembre ha evidenziato la
necessità di avere un tutore per il piede destro, che tende a dirigersi
con la punta un pò verso l'esterno e perciò, anche i movimenti fatti per
provare a deambulare, diventano più difficili

Siamo ancora in attesa del tutore, speriamo di averlo prima possibile,
anche perchè insieme a questo dovremo usare delle nuove scarpe
adeguate e da lì riprenderemo a fare i nostri piccoli passi

Nel frattempo, dopo una prova generale fatta in agosto, durante la
settimana di chiusura del centro fisioterapico, eccoci arrivato a casa il
deambulatore, mezzo col quale stando abbastanza comodamente seduto,
Luca riesce a spostarsi per casa spingendosi in qualche modo coi piedi,
per ora con delle scarpine di panno o quelle ormai piccole che si vedono
nel video qui, o con le calze antiscivolo

Comunque è sempre un modo per muoversi e in questo caso in
autonomia, per provare a scoprire chi c'è in giro per casa e avvicinarsi
alle cose che lo interessano di più

MOVING WITH WALKER

The last visit had at Gaslini Hospital in September, has highlighted the need
for a guardian for the right foot , which tends to go with the point a little to
the outside and therefore , the movements made ​​to try to ambulate become
more difficult

We are still waiting for the tutor , we hope to have it as soon as possible,
because even with this we will use the new shoes adequate and resume
from there to make our small steps

Meanwhile, after a rehearsal done in August, during the week of the closing
of the physiotherapy center , here we got home the walker , which means
by being quite comfortably seated, Luke manages to move house somehow
pushing with their feet , for now with the shoes of cloth or small ones now 
that you can see in the video , or with non-slip socks

However, it is always a way to move autonomously and in this case , to try
to find out who is lying around the house and move closer to the things that
interest him more
