Fat burning exercises are important when you're goal is to reduce your body weight. Aerobic exercises have been the answer given by many fitness experts for decades when it comes to burning calories. What most don't seem to tell you is how to use specific exercises to burn fat efficiently.

Physical fitness exercises are geared to releasing enzymes into your system to help you increase your metabolism and uses fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. The enzymes stick around for hours after your workout and even while you sleep.
If you're just starting to work out for weight loss, exercises to lose weight are perfect for you regardless of your fitness level. I recommend starting out with short 15 minute walks if you have been sedentary or step it up a notch to 30 minutes if you're fairly active. Remember to work at a sub aerobic level in order to achieve fat burning for the first 20 minutes. If you are able to walk uphill for a portion of your time this is actually an even better workout for you.
As you get more acclimated to exercise, start including body weight exercises in your weekly routine. At this point you don't need to specific bodybuilding routines, what you need for fat burning is an overall body weight exercise program. You can start off with circuit training which will allow you to work your entire body in as little as 30 minutes.
Body weight workouts are perfect for beginners because they incorporate simple compound exercises that cover your major muscle groups. This generally involves push-ups, squats, standing or seated presses, lunges and abdominal exercises.
To increase your activity level outside of the gym you can try sports activities. Here are a few that seem to work well and even gave you a reason to strengthen your body and get fit.
