SINGAPORE/TOKYO (Reuters) - Il dollaro è ai massimi di tre settimane contro lo yen sul finire della seduta asiatica, sostenuto dal rialzo questa settimana dei rendimenti dei Treasuries statunitensi e dalla salita della borsa di Tokyo dopo che le indagini congiunturali hanno indicato che l'economia globale sta migliorando.
Il dollaro è in rialzo dello 0,3% in area 99,05/07 yen alle ore 8,30 italiane dopo avere segnato a 99,12 yen - sulla piattaforma di trading EBS - il livello più alto dal 5 agosto.
Proprio attorno a 99 yen è vista una resistenza.
"Il dollaro/yen dovrebbe continuare a rimanere al rialzo poichè i rendimenti dei Treasuries USA si muovono gradualmente verso l'alto" dice Jeffrey Halley, FX trader di Saxo Capital Markets a Singapore.
Il recente aumento dei rendimenti obbligazionari statunitensi, spinti dalle aspettative di una graduale riduzione dello stimolo monetario da parte della Federal Reserve, aumenta l'appetito per le attivit denominate in dollari.
Gli operatori del mercato tengono d'occhio anche i movimenti in azioni giapponesi, dato che lo yen si è mosso in direzione opposta a quella dell'indice Nikkei quest'anno.
Il Nikkei è salito 1,9% oggi dopo che alcune indagini sull'attivit delle imprese hanno suggerito che l'economia mondiale è in via di guarigione, con l'attivit manifatturiera di Stati Uniti e Cina ai massimi da molti mesi, mentre quella della zona euro è salita più del previsto.
L'euro ha toccato un massimo di un mese contro lo yen a 132,34 yen per poi quotare a 132,05, in crescita del 0,2%.
Contro il dollaro, l'euro è in calo dello 0,1% a 1,3341/43 dollari, ma sopra il minino intraday di ieri a 1,3299 dollari.
L'euro aveva fissato un massimo di sei mesi a 1,3453 dollari all'inizio di questa settimana, sostenuto dal recente miglioramento euro dati economici della zona.
