Lombardia, Maroni candidato in Regione per Lega
MILANO (Reuters) - Roberto Maroni è il candidato della Lega Nord alle regionali in Lombardia.
Lo ha detto oggi il segretario regionale lombardo del Carroccio Matteo Salvini, spiegando che il leader leghista Maroni, con un terzo dei voti scrutinati delle primarie effettuate ieri in Lombardia, è al 76% delle preferenze.
"Il nostro candidato c'è ed è forte", ha detto nel corso di una conferenza stampa in via Bellerio Salvini, che nelle primarie finora ha ottenuto il 18% dei voti.
"E' difficile trovare un esponente che sia garanzia di antimafiosit come Roberto Maroni", ha aggiunto, anche se non ha precisato se la Lega correr alle Regionali in coalizione con il Pdl.
Maroni nei giorni scorsi ha lasciato intendere che se dovesse diventare presidente della Regione potrebbe lasciare il posto di segretario federale della Lega.
Intanto stamani il presidente della Regione Lombardia Roberto Formigoni ha anticipato su Twitter alcuni nomi che comporranno la nuova giunta regionale, confermando come vicepresidente il leghista Andrea Gibelli.
Per il 25 ottobre Formigoni ha annunciato lo scioglimento del consiglio regionale - una scadenza che secono Salvini ad oggi è difficile da rispettare - nel tentativo di arrivare al voto prima di Natale, dopo la crisi innescata in Regione dall'arresto dell'assessore alla Casa Domenico Zambetti, accusato di scambio di voti con la 'ndrangheta.
