Calcio: Petkovic, Lazio vuole imporre gioco anche in Europa
Atene, 24 ott. - (Adnkronos) - ''Un avversario ferito puo' fare risultato. Noi siamo qui per imporre il nostro gioco''. La Lazio non sottovaluta il Panathinaikos, rivale dei biancocelesti domani nella terza giornata della prima fase di Europa League. La formazione greca e' in crisi. I romani, invece, arrivano all'appuntamento dopo la vittoria per 3-2 sul Milan. ''I nostri rivali vorranno dare tutto davanti ai propri tifosi, noi stiamo bene e cercheremo di tornare a Roma con i punti'', dice il tecnico della Lazio, Vladimir Petkovic.
''Ci aspetta una partita molto difficile, contro un avversario molto arrabbiato che avra' voglia di riscatto. Noi dovremo essere bravi a interpretare la gara nel modo giusto, dovremo colpire quando avremo la possibilita'. E non dovremo farci intimorire dall'ambiente'', aggiunge. La Lazio in Grecia non ha a disposizione Miroslav Klose: l'assenza dell'attaccante tedesco non e' legata a nessun caso. ''Ha un permesso per recuperare in vista dei prossimi impegni della Lazio. Non c'e' nessun caso, e' tutto chiaro'', taglia corto Petkovic.
Domenica, in campionato, i capitolini sono attesi dall'impegnativa gara contro la Fiorentina. L'imminente sfida con i viola non autorizza pero' a snobbare l'appuntamento con il Panathinaikos. ''Si lotta un anno per arrivare in Europa, quando si gioca in Coppa e' importante credere di poter fare risultato. Riuscirci ha un valore in piu', perche' in questo modo la Lazio fa parlare di se' anche fuori dall'Italia. Nessuno -prosegue- ci sottovaluta all'estero: un motivo in piu' per provare a imporre il nostro gioco anche qui''.
