(LaPresse) - Dopo avere incassato il voto di fiducia della Camera, con 453 sì (di Pd, Pdl, Scelta Civica, e dalle componenti del Gruppo Misto Maie, Psi e Centro democratico) e 153 no (di Fratelli d'Italia, Sel e Movimento 5 Stelle), il presidente del Consiglio Enrico Letta è al Senato per ottenere il via libera anche dall'aula di Palazzo Madama. Il dibattito ha preso il via poco dopo le 9 e alle 11.30 è prevista la replica del premier. La prima chiama sar alle 13.

Osservato speciale Phil Mickelson, che sta offrendo una stagione piuttosto difficile da decifrare poiche' e' passato dal successo nel Phoenix Open, al terzo posto nel WGC Cadillac Championship fino alla delusione del Masters (54°) e anche a un taglio. Manassero sara' al quinto impegno stagionale negli Stati Uniti dopo aver preso parte al WGC Accenture Match Play (uscito al primo turno), all'Honda Classic (29°), al WGC Cadillac Championship (23°) e al Masters (out al taglio). Il montepremi e' di 6.700.000 dollari con prima moneta di 1.170.000 dollari.
ROMA (Reuters) - Il leader del Pdl non arretra sull'abolizione dell'Imu sulla prima casa, a cui subordina la partecipazione del Pdl al governo.
"Sono fiducioso sia sull'abrogazione per il futuro dell'Imu che sulla restituzione (della quota pagata nel 2012). Non potremmo essere parte di un governo che non attuasse queste misure e non lo sosterremmo dall'esterno se non lo facesse", ha detto Berlusconi ai giornalisti entrando al Senato per il voto di fiducia al nuovo esecutivo.

Ammontano a ben sei milioni i cittadini che oggi, in Italia, sono disoccupati o cosiddetti 'lavoratori scoraggiati', hanno smesso di cercare lavoro. E' in questo stato di disperazione sociale che va ricercata la ragione della tragedia, sino alla follia suicida, di tanti, troppi italiani. Non possiamo, non dobbiamo lasciarli soli e possiamo farlo solo garantendo all'Italia piu' lavoro e piu' giustizia sociale. E' su questo che il nuovo governo dovra' assicurare un impegno massimo e urgente''.
GAZA (Reuters) - Un raid aereo israeliano ha ucciso un palestinese e ne ha ferito un altro nella striscia di Gaza, nel primo attacco contro militanti da quando un cessate il fuoco ha messo fine ad otto giorni di guerra nel novembre scorso.
Un portavoce del governo israeliano ha detto che l'esercito ha colpito "un jihadista esperto nella fabbricazione di razzi", aggiungendo che l'uomo ha "avuto un ruolo" nell'attacco missilistico dalla penisola egiziana del Sinai contro Eilat, localit turistica israeliana sul Mar Rosso, lo scorso 17 aprile, che non ha provocato danni o feriti.
La vittima era un membro della forza di sicurezza nazionale di Hamas, ma i parenti hanno detto che apparteneva anche ad un'organizzazione salafita jihadista militante.
