If you allow yourself to surrender completely, to the Monad that lives within you, the Godhead, the Essential Self, call it what you will, in that total surrender to it, things will never be the same for you again. The process will allow you to ascend into realms that you are not even aware of at this moment. The door between you and the walking dead, the ordinary human on the street, this is not to put down any man, this not in judgment that this is voiced, it is only in saying that evolution, conscious evolution is a choice. You can choose it or you can not choose it.

There are many doing both and neither is wrong or right. The question is which do you choose to do? Once the choice is мейд there is no going back and if someone says to you "Ahh, but I know somebody who мейд the choice and they're not the same. They decided that they didn't want to do that." Then they didn't make the choice. Because once the choice is мейд there is no going back, so you have to really make the choice. 100%. Not 99.9%. It's total surrender no matter what the stakes. It doesn't make any difference, what the cause, what the claim to fame. Nothing- you leave it all behind.

As Jesus said when the man came to him and said "Master, Master I wish to follow you." And the Master said, "Come join us." "Ahh, but I cannot do that today, you see my father died and I have to go bury him." And Jesus said "Let the dead bury the dead. Come with us." The man said, "Oh no, no I cannot do this- I must go bury my father." And he turned around and walked away. He мейд his choice, he went to be with the dead while tradition called him to make sure his father was buried. Do you really think his father cared? He was more concerned about what other people would think of him if he didn't go bury his father, than he was about being with the Master, who he said he wanted to be with. It is about total surrender.

There's a delightful story about the Peace Pilgrim who walked across the United States. This delight woman was walking down the highway and a car pulled over to pick her up. She tells the story that she always kind of knew that sooner or later somebody would most likely want to do her harm, given the odds, walking across the United States as an older woman, alone. As she opened the door of this car and she looked at this man, she heard that still small voice that said this is he, this is the one. So she got into the car knowing that this is that man that meant to do her harm. And she said to him, "You know, taking on this trek at my age and walking along alone for so long doesn't give me much time for sleep.

I'm aware that there are harmful people out here so I kind of stay awake a lot. I'm very, very tired you know. And then wonderful, beautiful people like you come along, people I know I can trust immediately, and I can finally rest. So if you'll just excuse me, I'm going to take a rest until we get to the next town. Please wake me up when we get there." And she fell sound asleep. He woke her up when they got to the next town and he said to her, "You are correct, there are people out to harm you, and I am one of them. I did mean you serious, grave harm. Your trust in me has saved my life- it has changed me forever. May I accompany you on the rest of your journey?" It is this degree of surrender that is being addressed tonight.

There was no halfway measure with her. It wasn't asleep with one foot hanging out the door just incase she had to jump. She gave herself completely in trust, knowing that whatever the outcome it didn't make any difference. And also knowing that without the complete surrender into that trust there was no hope that this man would ever see the light. So she gave herself completely to that, and he did. She was not an extraordinary woman, she was not a miracle worker, she was not a healer or a new age anything she was an older woman who wanted to say, we need peace on this earth.

It was during the Vietnam era, there was a lot of this going on, but not an older woman walking across the United States by herself with a T-shirt on that said Peace Pilgrim. So this is you. It is you, it is every man, every person, every being. No person on this planet is more or less than anyone else. All are equal, all the same. You simply make choices. And in those choices the difference shows up. It is in speaking the unspeakable, the unspoken, the words of the heart that courage is born, talents are shown forth, joy is birthed and created from moments that are untold in what they hold. Precious moments filled with the water of life ready to sprinkle forth onto the plants of your own consciousness and grow the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers straight from the crown chakra up, bringing you grace, peace and joy beyond your imaginings.
