Welcome to the Maxxis FIM Six Days Enduro 2006, Lake Taupo New Zealand

Taking place in New Zealand for the very first time 14-19 November 2006, this will be a fantastic ISDE for both riders and supporters. The riding will be both fun and interesting and the host region, Lake Taupo is one of the best holiday destinations on the planet.

The New Zealand landscape of forests, rolling hills, beautiful lakes and rivers provides a great venue for the ISDE tracks. Most of the riding will take place in a pine forest comparable to forests in Scandinavia. Organisers will make sure the trails are flowing and fun to maximise the riding experience.

From a clean blue lake, to the breathtaking fury of the Huka Falls, Lake Taupo sitting at the heart of the North Island's Volcanic Plateau has it all. Nestled on the shores of Lake Taupo, with the mighty mountains of Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngaruahoe as a stunning backdrop, Taupo is a special place with something for everyone.
