Spagna studia aumento Iva su alcuni prodotti

MADRID (Reuters) - La Spagna potrebbe aumentare l'Iva su alcuni prodotti e servizi che al momento beneficiano di un'imposizione fiscale contenuta, con l'obiettivo di incrementare le entrate e di favorire il raggiungimento dei rigidi target sul deficit.

Lo ha dichiarato il ministero delle Finanze. "Il ministero sta studiando la riclassificazione di alcuni prodotti e servizi che hanno un'Iva ridotta o super ridotta", ha riferito un portavoce.

L'attuale livello dell'Iva � del 18%, tra i pi� bassi in Europa, numerosi prodotti sono tassati all'8% (come servizi turistici, biglietti di cinema e teatro) se non addirittura al 4% (alimentari di base, libri, giornali).

Sia la Commissione europea sia il Fmi hanno raccomandato alla Spagna una revisione dell'Iva.
