Roma, 20 giu. (Adnkronos) - Giovedi' 21 giugno su Rai4, a partire dalle 21.10, consueto triplo appuntamento con il fantastico. Creato nel 1936 dallo scrittore e illustratore Lee Falk, l''Uomo mascherato' e' cronologicamente il primo dei 'supereroi in calzamaglia' dei fumetti americani, ma anche l'ultimo ad arrivare sul grande schermo, esattamente sessant'anni dopo. In The Phantom il volto sotto la maschera e' quello di Billy Zane, futuro rivale di Leonardo Di Caprio in 'Titanic'; la bella al suo fianco e' Kristy Swanson, gia' protagonista del film Buffy, l'ammazzavampiri, prototipo dell'omonima fortunatissima serie.
La colorita ambientazione esotica e anni trenta ricalca fedelmente l'estetica del fumetto, richiamando, allo stesso tempo, l'avventuroso immaginario della saga di Indiana Jones, d'altra parte ispirata proprio dall'universo narrativo dei comic books. Nel cast anche la diva Catherine Zeta-Jones, qui alla vigilia della consacrazione de La maschera di Zorro. Dirige l'australiano Simon Wincer. A seguire, dalle 22.45, puntata speciale del magazine 'Wonderland' dedicata al visionario regista giapponese Shinya Tsukamoto, protagonista di una corposa retrospettiva all'ultima edizione dell'Asian Film Festival di Reggio Emilia.
Alle 23.10, terzo e ultimo appuntamento con 'Hellraiser', fortunata saga cinematografica horror ideata dal britannico Clive Barker. Prodotto negli Stati Uniti e diretto da Anthony Hickox, 'Hellraiser III: inferno sulla citta'' porta all'interno del mondo reale il principe dell'onirica dimensione del dolore Pinhead. L'indimenticabile personaggio dal volto chiodato si afferma qui definitivamente come una della principali icone di genere, al pari del Freddy Krueger di Nightmare o del Faccia di Cuoio di Non aprite quella porta.
