(ASCA) - Milano, 11 giu - La crisi economica ha dimostrato
che le banche italiane sono piu' solide di quelle spagnole e
americane. Questo, in sintesi, il ragionamento sviluppato dal
ministro per lo Sviluppo economico, Corrado Passera, durante
un convegno al Corriere della Sera.
''Le banche americane - ha spiegato il ministro - ci hanno
sempre trattato come poveretti, poi sono crollate all'inizio
della crisi. Lo hanno fatto anche le banche spagnole, seppure
con meno spocchia... Ci sono banche un po' meno sexy e con il
passo da alpino che sono passate attraverso tutte le crisi
senza chiedere soldi pubblici. Se hanno chiesto i Tremonti
bonds, non hanno smesso di pentirsene''. Da Passera, quindi,
una 'frecciatina' proprio nei confronti dei ''Tremonti
bonds'': ''Sono stati l'investimento pubblico con maggiore
rendimento e tra l'altro ci si puo' chiedere perche'
dovessero avere quel rendimento''.
