Roma, 29 gen. (Adnkronos) - Nell'ambito dell'iniziativa 'Venerdi' aperitivo live music' promossa dalla Interazioni Art Gallery di Roma, il primo febbraio, dalle ore 19.00 alle ore 22.00 si esibira' il trombettista Claudio Corvini - membro della PMJO, Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra della Fondazione Musica per Roma all'Auditorium. Un artista italo argentino che ha collaborato con molti gruppi e musicisti italiani (da Roberto Gatto a Giovanni Tommaso, da Danilo Rea a Dino Piana e poi tanti altri come Franco Piana, Gianni Basso, Oscar Valdambrini) e americani come George Garzone, Steve Turre, Nataline Cole, Donald Harrison.
Il trombettista ripercorrera' la storia della tromba nel jazz, improvvisando ogni volta sulle note di brani storici di Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Art Farmer, solo per citarne alcuni.Da solista, Corvini dimostra quanto la tromba abbia da sempre un ruolo leader nelle formazioni jazzistiche, senza la quale il genere non avrebbe conseguito lo sviluppo espressivo che ha poi avuto, anche nel moltiplicarsi in tanti sottogeneri, dal Be-bop al Free jazz.
Nato a Buenos Aires, e' stato iniziato a questo genere sin da piccolo dal padre Alberto Corvini, prima tromba e solista di jazz per 30 anni in Rai. Di adozione romana ha collaborato come prima tromba e solista con molti gruppi e musicisti sia italiani che si muovono nella capitale (Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Tommaso, Danilo Rea, Dino Piana e poi tanti altri come Franco Piana, Gianni Basso, Oscar Valdambrini) sia americani come George Garzone, Steve Turre, Nataline Cole, Donald Harrison).
