Roma, 23 gen. (Adnkronos) - Parte da Bergamo, dove si svolgera' dal 5 al 9 febbraio, la quarta edizione de 'Al cuore dei conflitti', rassegna cinematografica itinerante, che durante il 2013 tocchera' diverse citta' italiane. Visioni e riflessioni sui conflitti geopolitici, ma anche urbani, razziali e di genere, che assillano numerose zone del pianeta. Film inediti per scoprire storie poco conosciute, attraverso gli occhi di chi questi conflitti li ha vissuti o li vive sulla propria pelle.
''Per capire un conflitto o una rivalita' geopolitica, non basta precisare e cartografare le poste in gioco, bisogna anche cercare, lo si e' visto - soprattutto quando le cause sono complesse - di comprendere le ragioni, le idee dei suoi principali attori: capi di Stato, leader di movimenti regionalisti, autonomisti o indipendentisti, eccetera. Ciascuno di essi esprime e influenza a un tempo lo stato d'animo della parte di opinione pubblica che rappresenta. Il ruolo delle idee - anche se sbagliate - e' capitale in geopolitica. Sono esse a spiegare i progetti e a determinare la scelta delle strategie, certo insieme ai dati materiali.'' (Yves Lacoste).
La rassegna 'Al cuore dei conflitti' e' organizzata da Federazione Italiana Cineforum in collaborazione con Lab 80 film, Laboratorio 80, Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso, Universita' di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Bergamo e Balcani ed e' realizzato con il sostegno dell'Unione europea nell'ambito del progetto Racconta l'Europa all'Europa.
