  4. Tap on SOFT RESET
  5. Press Confirm button

  3. A green light will start flashing

  2. Hit on the Setup button

  5. Navigate to Restore Default Settings
  6. Tap on Clear All Data and Settings

  7. After restoring the settings, go to your PC
  8. Open the Control Panel
  9. Tap on Devices and Printers
  10. You will see a list of devices
  11. Select your printer

Go to Properties

  1. Tap on the Password icon
  2. Enter a new password
  3. Tap on the Save Changes button

After changing the password of your printer, you can easily use your new password to access the printer.

Reconnect the printer to the PC after reset

Some users reported that they are unable to use the printer after resetting it. This problem mainly appears in wireless settings. After a hard reset, you have to reconfigure your printer.

  1. Go to your router and restart the WPS button
  2. On the printer, press the Wi-Fi button
  3. Your printer will start searching for the network
  4. Go to the printer screen and check for available networks
  5. Select the correct network and tap on the OK button
  6. Enter the password and you will get Connected status
