PLOT X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX:
In X-Men: Dark Phoenix, the telepath Jean Gray develops incredible psychic powers that corrupt his mind, transforming it into the terrible Black Phoenix.
The training between the walls of the School for Gifted Youngsters of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), under the supervision of brilliant Professor Beast (Nicholas Hoult), bore fruit: the young mutants who fought and defeated Apocalypse are no longer the an unruly class of yore, but a proven team of superheroes known as X-Men. Dr. Xavier encourages them to use their powers to perform heroic and sensational deeds, but even the most powerful telepath in the world cannot understand what goes on in a teenager’s head. So when, during a space mission, an inexplicable incident reinforces the powers of Jean Gray (Sophie Turner), the ruthless principal must face the disastrous consequences of what happened with wisdom. Sweet Jean gradually loses control of herself, he performs impulsive and irrational gestures that endanger the safety of his companions and of all humanity. Meanwhile, a shape-shifting alien (Jessica Chastain), intent on exploiting the situation to her advantage, tries to ensnare the frightened mutant and convince her to assume the identity of Fenice.
The novice X-men, Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Tempesta (Alexandra Shipp), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters) join forces with the indomitable Mystica (Jennifer Lawrence) and the unpredictable Magneto , now the leader of a group of mutants on Ganosha Island, to save their friend’s life.
