In X-Men: Dark Phoenix, the telepath Jean Gray develops incredible psychic powers that corrupt his mind, transforming it into the terrible Black Phoenix.
The training between the walls of the School for Gifted Youngsters of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), under the supervision of brilliant Professor Beast (Nicholas Hoult), bore fruit: the young mutants who fought and defeated Apocalypse are no longer the an unruly class of yore, but a proven team of superheroes known as X-Men.
