A businessman was abducted by three armed men in Zamboanga City Tuesday afternoon.
Reports from Zamboanga City police disclosed, the armed suspects barged inside the office of Western Mindanao Development Corp. at Cabato Road, Barangay Tetuan.
The reports said abductors forcibly took Inocente "Tito" Bautista, corporate owner of Wesmidco.
The suspects also used the car of Bautista as their get-away vehicle.
The car even met an accident before it reached Sitio Mulu-Muluan in Barangay Mercedes, where abductors left the vehicle and reportedly brought their victim to a coastal area located near the vicinity.
Zamboanga City Police chief, Senior Superintendent Lurimer Detran, said one of the suspects was a former employee of Bautista.
Local authorities are now conducting rescue operations to save the victim. Police believe the victim and his abductors are still in Zamboanga City.
