Just an illusion

La chiamano la casetta specchiata. Destinata ad essere un temporary project, si è poi trasformata nell'attrazione del Parco Nazionale Joshua Tree in California, con una media di 400 persone a weekend a contemplarla.

Di lei, il suo creatore, l'architetto Phillip K. Smith III dice:"Lucid Stead è un enigma da caricare di senso, freddo e immateriale, ma con un cuore intelligente. Di sera, infatti, porte e finestre al led sono in grado di replicare gli stessi colori del tramonto in corso. È il mio monolite di Odissea nello spazio. Molto, molto più poetico però".

Che dire? Io in una casa così ci vivrei tutto l'anno. Solitudine inclusa.

A parte la prima foto che da l'impressione di una capanna apparentemente svuotata, come dici tu, è giusto un'illusione. É un rivestimento un po' suggestivo, ma viverci non so se mi darebbe soddisfazione. Una capanna nel deserto. Inoltre se torni a casa un po' sconvolto o arrabbiato, rischi di spaventarti davanti alla porta. Specchio per specchio, preferisco quelli di questa casa: CASA SPECCHIO
