08-06-1972 un aereo americano bombardo con il NAPLAM la popolazione di Trang Bang, Kim Phuc una bambina di nove anni con i vestiti in fiamme, usci  fuori dalla sua abitazione, correndo lungo la strada del villaggio.

 Rimase nuda, perche ormai i suoi vestiti gli si erano bruciati addosso, il fotografo Nic Ut riprese questa famosa immagine, soccorse la bambina trasportandola nel più vicino  ospedale dove rimase ricoverata per 14 mesi, fu sottoposta a 17 operazioni di trapianto della pelle.

 Chiunque vede questa foto non puo fare a meno di notare la sofferenza, e il dolore umano della guerra, sopra i bambini.

 Oggi THI KIM PHUC la bambina della foto, vive felicemente sposata con due bambini in Canada, si è dedicata ad aiutare i bambini vittime della guerra ed è stata nominata ambasciatore dell’UNESCO.

 He/she was naked, because by now his/her suits you/they had burnt him I set, the photographer Nic Ut taken back this famous image, assisted the child transporting her/it in the nearest hospital where he was hospitalized for 14 months, 17 operations of transplantation of the skin you/he/she was submitted to. 
 
 Whoever sees this photo you/he/she cannot do to less less than notice the suffering and the human pain of the war above his/her/their children. 
 
 Today THI Kim PHUC the child of the photo, alive happily married two children in Canada, you/he/she is devoted to help his/her children victims of the war and /she has been named ambassador of the UNESCO.
