MEDIA: The journalist behind the Snowden case leaves the "Guardian"

 

Glenn Greenwald, a journalist by Snowden case that began Tuesday, October 16 announced his departure from the British newspaper "The Guardian", in a statement released by the website Buzzfeed.  

The American journalist who lives in Brazil, said that his departure from the British newspaper had been "difficult" decision.

Trained as a lawyer, Glenn Greenwald has worked with the American Edward Snowden, a former consultant to the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), to publish in June 2013 a series of secret documents revealing a vast electronic monitoring system set up by the United States. 

"My collaboration with the" Guardian "has been extremely successful and rewarding: I have the greatest respect for all the writing with which I worked and I trè s proud of what we have accomplished ", told the reporter in the email he sent to the U.S. site Buzzfeed. "A media dream"
