Torino, 24 ott. (LaPresse) - E' tutto pronto al Lingotto per la nona edizione del Salone del Gusto che si svolger dal 25 al 29 ottobre a Torino al Lingotto di Torino. La crisi tra i padiglioni non sembra esserci, venduti tutti gli spazi espositivi, si prospetta un record di presenze, assaggi e vendite. Organizzato da Slow Food, l'evento raccoglie la rete mondiale tra le comunit del cibo dando voce a chi coltiva, alleva e trasforma i suoi prodotti. 'Cibi che cambiano il mondo' è il tema che sintetizza il Salone del Gusto e Terra Madre 2012. Le storie di chef, artigiani e comunit del cibo di 150 Paesi testimoniano come si possa rivoluzionare il paradigma che regola questo mondo in crisi a partire dal cibo, dimostrando che possiamo fare qualcosa di buono per la nostra salute, l'ambiente e il sistema produttivo senza rinunciare al piacere del cibo e alla convivialit . Come immagine di questa edizione abbiamo scelto un alimento simbolo del cambiamento: la mela di Newton.
Sono molte le esperienze che propone il programma del Salone del Gusto e Terra Madre 2012: un grande Mercato che si snoda tra Lingotto Fiere e l'adiacente Oval, creando una felice unione tra espositori, Presìdi Slow Food e comunit del cibo; Laboratori del Gusto e Incontri con l'Autore per approfondire e assaggiare in compagnia di produttori, chef, vigneron, birrai ed esperti; Teatri del Gusto per osservare da vicino le mani dei cuochi all'opera nel creare i piatti simbolo dei loro ristoranti; percorsi educativi per bambini e adulti; Conferenze per aprire il dibattito su come stili alimentari responsabili possano migliorare la nostra salute e quella del pianeta; un'Enoteca che valorizza territori di confine, aree montane e terroir estremi con 1200 etichette delle migliori cantine italiane; Appuntamenti a Tavola, per fare il giro del mondo restando in Piemonte.
Sono oltre 600 i delegati di Slow Food arrivati da 95 Paesi, loro racconteranno una cultura del cibo diversa da quella di massa conosciuta in Europa. Un maxi orto di prodotti africani è stato allestito con semi di mille piante provenienti da 25 Paesi africani. E' il prodotto della campagna Slow Food che ha creato in Africa 1000 orti in soli 2 anni. Sono invece oltre mille i giornalisti accreditati al Salone, che destiner il 44% delle aree espositive alla didattica, confermando la sua vocazione non commerciale. Grande successo anche per i laboratori del gusto, gi il 78% sono stati prenotati on-line. Domani il taglio del nastro con il ministro Mario Catania e il patron di Slow Food, Carlo Petrini.
Roma, 24 ott. (Adnkronos) - E' in Italia per tre concerti (10 novembre a Padova, 11 a Roma e 12 a Milano) con un inedito set acustico, sulla scia dell'ultimo cd 'The story of Light' (secondo capitolo della trilogia 'The real illusion'), e Steve Vai non dimentica le sue origini italiane. Il grande chitarrista racconta oggi a 'Il Messaggero' com'e' diventato dopo una stellare carriera che vanta collaborazioni con Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth e WhiteSnake. "I miei nonni vivevano ad un passo uno dall'altro ma si incontrarono solo da emigrati a New York -racconta Vai-. Nella cantina avevamo le botti di vino, da bambino nonno mi metteva sulle ginocchia e mi cantava canzoni italiane". L'artista ha collaborato anche con Eros Ramazzotti e Nelly Furtado, ma non ha altri duetti in vista: "Nella mia musica non c'e' democrazia -dice- Ogni cosa dev'essere come dico io". Il suo artista preferito, d'altronde, e' Tom Waits, "un tutt'uno con l'espressione creativa e non fa compromessi". Dalla meditazione alla disciplina rigorosa, Vai sembra essere lontano dallo stereotipo del chitarrista droga, sesso e rock'n roll. "Sin da ragazzino la cosa che mi veniva naturale era la musica", ricorda. Ma il ragazzo ammette che a suonare "non ero fluido, ci sono diventato col sacrificio e lo zen. La mia idea di divertimento da 34 anni a questa parte e' solo suonare tanto e da lucido. Nessuno farebbe un reality su di me: la mia giornata e' noiosissima".
Firenze, 24 ott. - (Adnkronos) - La mostra ''Arte torna arte'' e' prorogata fino al 9 dicembre 2012: il grande successo di pubblico e gli apprezzamenti ricevuti hanno infatti spinto gli organizzatori a posticiparne la chiusura (inizialmente prevista per il 4 novembre), regalando un'occasione in piu' per visitare nelle storiche sale della Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze oltre quaranta opere di trentadue artisti contemporanei fino alla seconda domenica di dicembre.
L'esposizione coinvolge non solo gli ambienti del museo specificamente dedicati alle mostre temporanee, ma anche le sale della collezione permanente, la Tribuna del David, la Galleria dei Prigioni, la Gipsoteca, la Sala del Colosso, laddove l'inserimento di opere contemporanee evidenzi chiaramente il rapporto tra presente e passato.
La mostra, a cura di Bruno Cora', Franca Falletti e Daria Filardo, prevede l'installazione nelle sale della Galleria dell'Accademia di opere di: Francis Bacon, Louise Bourgeois, Alberto Burri, Antonio Catelani, Martin Creed, Gino de Dominicis, Rineke Dijkstra, Marcel Duchamp, Luciano Fabro, Hans Peter Feldmann, Luigi Ghirri, Antony Gormley, Yves Klein, Jannis Kounellis, Ketty La Rocca, Leoncillo, Sol LeWitt, Eliseo Mattiacci, Olaf Nicolai, Luigi Ontani, Giulio Paolini, Claudio Parmiggiani, Giuseppe Penone, Pablo Picasso, Alfredo Pirri, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Renato Ranaldi, Alberto Savinio, Thomas Struth, Fiona Tan, Bill Viola, Andy Warhol. (ASCA) - Roma, 24 ott - ''Rendere operativa la direttiva sui pagamenti e fissare termini inderogabili per la pubblica amministrazione e' urgente e non rinviabile''. A dirlo e' il direttore generale di Confindustria, Marcella Panucci, in audizione parlamentare sul Ddl di Stabilita'. Il d.g. ha spiegato che ''non si tratta solo di ristabilire un corretto rapporto tra amministrazioni pubbliche e fornitori, centrale in ogni Paese civile, ma soprattutto di mettere fine alla grave crisi di liquidita' in cui versano le imprese in una fase caratterizzata da forti restrizioni nell'accesso al credito''.
