31 gen. (Adnkronos) - Il 14 febbraio con ''Happy Mistake'' (Sugar) Raphael Gualazzi rompe un silenzio lungo due anni per far ricominciare a parlare la musica. Riflessivo e nello stesso tempo appassionato, timido ma incontenibile, Gualazzi e' tra i talenti piu' puri del panorama musicale degli ultimi anni: un vero e proprio ''artigiano della musica'' con un amore viscerale per il jazz e il blues. E in ''Happy Mistake'' c'e' ancora di piu'. Tredici brani ricchi di idee, invenzioni, dettagli che rompono gli schemi e spiazzano l'ascoltatore, tra soul, gospel, country, blues, rock e l'immancabile jazz. Un lavoro di cui lo stesso Raphael e' autore, compositore, arrangiatore e produttore. Rivelazione del Festival di Sanremo 2011 (primo posto tra i Giovani e Premio della critica), con un eccezionale secondo posto all'Eurovision Song Contest a Dusseldorf, un accordo con l'etichetta Blue Note e infiniti live in giro per il mondo, Raphael continua a non far propria l'aria da star e basta vederlo sul palco per capire che da quando aveva 14 anni sapeva gia' che avrebbe fatto ''il musicista e nient'altro''.
Ed ecco che in ''Happy Mistake'' Raphael passa con disinvoltura dall'inglese all'italiano al francese, collabora con l'estro delle Puppini Sisters, con la delicatezza di Camille e con la destrezza musicale di Fabrizio Bosso. Raphael concepisce la musica come un arcobaleno di colori e cosi' vale per questo nuovo disco in cui ogni brano e' diverso dall'altro, ma ciascuno forte nella sua unicita'.
Nelle tredici tracce del disco si trovano i due brani che Raphael portera' sul palco del prossimo Festival di Sanremo: ''Sai (Ci basta un sogno)'' e ''Senza Ritegno''. Il primo e' una pop ballad ispirata da un viaggio immaginario in una mansarda, in cui un pittore e' intento a dipingere una modella. Il brano, arrangiato da Vince Mendoza e registrato presso gli studi di Hilversum (Amsterdam) con la Metropole Orkest (come anche ''Rainbows''), parte da un concetto estetico per arrivare a riflessioni concrete sul mondo che ci circonda, lanciando un messaggio positivo nei tempi difficili di oggi. ''Senza Ritegno'', invece, con il suo rock'n'roll in tonalita' minore intriso di atmosfere jazz, descrive la mancanza di una consapevolezza etica in una societa' che talvolta si concentra su aspetti effimeri della realta'. Un brano che non vuol essere una critica al sistema, quanto piuttosto un invito a sognare.
