C.H.E.F. ®'s Health Equity Partners™ Division Hires New Fund Development Director

Seattle-based Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.®) announced that it has hired Stephen Kepher as Fund Development Director for its Health Equity Partners™ division.

Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.®), the entrepreneurial nonprofit organization long known for its mission to promote health and quality of life through education, announced that it has hired Stephen Kepher as Fund Development Director for its Health Equity Partners™ division. In this newly created position, Kepher will oversee planning and implementation of all fund development activities for the organization as part of an effort to reduce health inequities through advocacy, education, grant-making, and partnerships. Reporting directly to Kathy Burgoyne, Vice President of C.H.E.F.'s Health Equity Partners division, Kepher will also work closely with key staff members to facilitate the process.

Kepher has spent much of his professional career in nonprofit fund development. Most recently, he spent two years as the Development Director at University Prep Academy in Seattle, during which time he successfully led the first phase of their endowment campaign and launched a new capital campaign. Immediately prior to that, Kepher spent ten years as Director of Development at the Drew School in San Francisco, where he created the organization's Development Program, successfully conducted a capital campaign, and created a Major Gifts Program. Earlier in his career, Kepher also held leadership positions for nine years as Director of Development at the Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco, and thirteen months as Associate Director of Development at the College of Chemistry at UC Berkeley.

Kepher received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California and his Masters Degree in History from the University of Glasgow.
