(ASCA) - Roma, 5 mar - AgustaWestland, societa' di Finmeccanica, si e' aggiudicata commesse per un valore complessivo di circa 350 milioni di euro relative a elicotteri destinati a impieghi commerciali. Tra i principali accordi, siglati in occasione della fiera Heli-Expo 2013 (HAI), in corso a Las Vegas, USA, figurano i contratti firmati con la societa' inglese Sloane Helicopters, per due elicotteri GrandNew e due AW169, e con la Bristow Group Inc., che ha ulteriormente ampiato la sua flotta di elicotteri AW139 con un ordine per sei velivoli piu' opzioni. A queste commesse si aggiungono l'accordo pluriennale stretto con la Waypoint Leasing, per modelli di GrandNew, AW169, AW139 e AW189, e quello siglato con la societa' Caverton, che ha aggiunto altri tre AW139 alla sua flotta per operazioni offshore in Nigeria. Inoltre, la societa' elicotteristica di Finmeccanica ha venduto due AW139 negli Stati Uniti a clienti che li impiegheranno per missioni di trasporto VIP/corporate, un ulteriore GrandNew alla Polizia giapponese, e un AW119Kx alla societa' australiana Wagners Development Company Pty Ltd., il primo venduto in Australasia. ''Questi contratti - si legge in una nota - confermano il crescente successo della gamma di elicotteri commerciali di AgustaWestland sul mercato mondiale''.
