Nel complesso, la propensione al rischio ha caratterizzato l’avvio di settimana sui mercati asiatici, in scia alle dichiarazioni del primo ministro giapponese Abe, che ha annunciato un ulteriore allentamento per lo yen attraverso l’acquisto, per un valore fino a 50 mila mld yen (558 mld USD), di titoli del tesoro americano. L’indice Shanghai Composite ha fatto registrare un balzo del 3,12%, dopo la notizia che la Cina potr aumentare, fino a 10 volte, le quote di investimenti stranieri sui suoi mercati finanziari. Lo yuan cinese ha toccato il massimo da 19 anni. La PBoC ha fissato la media per lo yuan a 6,2695/USD, rispetto all’ultima chiusura a 6,2161. In Giappone, i mercati azionari hanno recuperato dopo che Abe ha annunciato l’intenzione di acquistare titoli del tesoro americani per permettere un ulteriore indebolimento dello yen; il Nikkei 225 ha guadagnato un altro 1,40%, dirigendosi verso i massimi del 2011. Il rendimento dei decennali americani è sceso dell’1,8% a 1,8510. Per quanto riguarda l’Europa, i suoi leader ritengono che la fase peggiore della crisi del debito in corso da tre anni sia superata e che la moneta unica ora sia al sicuro, nonostante l’imminente pacchetto di aiuti per Cipro e le elezioni in Italia e Germania. Lo spread fra i rendimenti dei decennali tedeschi e spagnoli si è ristretto, perché la scorsa settimana la Spagna è riuscita a vendere più debito del previsto. L’EUR/USD ha testato il livello a 1,3400, oltrepassando al rialzo la sua banda di Bollinger superiore. L’indice di forza relativa (RSI) è sopra 67,40 mentre l’indicatore MACD a 12-26 giorni segnala che il trend ribassista in atto dal 31 dicembre è diventato positivo l’11 gennaio. La richiesta di EUR continua a essere sostenuta, anche se gli ordini di vendita sull’EUR/USD a 1,3410/35 dovrebbero rallentare il rally. L’EUR/CHF si è impennato a 1,2240 (livello massimo da dicembre 2011), mentre la volatilit è balzata a 5,18, da 0,8521. L’EUR rimane rialzista contro il franco svizzero, i primi ordini di vendita dovrebbero entrare in gioco intorno a 1,2280. Ciò nonostante, l’indicatore RSI a 14 giorni indica che gli acquisti di EUR contro il CHF sono avvenuti troppo rapidamente per giungere fino ai livelli attuali, infatti l’indice punta all’81% (ben sopra la soglia di sovravenduto pari al 70%). L’USD/CHF ha consolidato le perdite di venerdì, con il diminuire della domanda di CHF. La coppia EUR/GBP ha raggiunto quota 0,8299 (livello massimo da aprile 2012), sostenuta da una parte dal rally dell’EUR, e, dall’altra, dalle pressioni esercitate dal Regno Unito per rinegoziare i termini dell’appartenenza all’UE. Nell’Eurozona, la produzione industriale m/m è salita allo 0,2% (contro il -0,3% previsto e il -1,4% precedente), mentre l’indice su base annua è sceso del 3,7%, più della flessione prevista pari al 3,1% (e del precedente -3,6%). Secondo noi, i fondamentali economici e politici dell’Eurozona non riflettono l’impostazione rialzista dei mercati valutari: infatti, continuano a esserci pochi corti nei libri degli ordini e i mercati prevedono un ulteriore rialzo. Il calendario economico di oggi non è fitto di appuntamenti e l’attenzione sar puntata sul discorso di Bernanke, incentrato sulla politica monetaria e sulla ripresa globale. Sebbene il membro della Fed Charles Plosser abbia dichiarato che la politica monetaria aggressiva probabilmente non riuscir ad accelerare la risoluzione dei problemi strutturali del mercato occupazionale, né a ripristinare la ricchezza delle famiglie, riteniamo che una correzione dei commenti da falco della Fed porterebbe a un aggiustamento della propensione al rischio, troppo positiva sui mercati di Europa e Stati Uniti.
