"Davanti a questo foglio bianco ogni poesia si farebbe artificio e magniloquenza del tutto e del nulla. Ricordo, invece, le tue parole e di quanto esse non bastino da sole, se ad esse nulla segue. E' il nostro tempo, la curva del nostro respiro, l'azione ed il pensiero a dire chi siamo e quale sia il nostro sentire profondo.
Non serviranno voli pindarici e sospiri, non servirà imbandire teneri sofismi ed ostentate passioni. Basterà la mia vita, il mio giorno dopo giorno. Guardami negli occhi e raggiungi il cuore, quello aperto solo a te.
E se poggerai l'orecchio al petto sentirai di battiti per te e di te.
