First time in the year 2021 due to the pandemic of COVID-19 ISC has been offering an online proctoring for CISSP and many other cybersecurity certifications.
ICS is the world’s largest non-profit organization associated with certified cybersecurity professionals. Announced on the 11th of January 2021 that it will offer an online proctoring pilot test for its entire portfolio of cybersecurity certification which also includes the renowned CISSP exam.
Administered exclusively by Pearson VUE, this pilot programming will assess the viability and future availability of online proctoring for (ISC) certification examinations.
In the time of COVID-19 pandemic, IISc has spent considerable time and efforts to ensure the integrity of all the exam process while taking them into considerations that many of the candidates have been facing extraordinary uncertainties and restrictions due to the pandemic, these were the words of Dr Casey Marks, who has been in the position of chief product officer as well as the vice president at ISC.
Candidates were capable of registering themselves on the ISC online proctoring pilot test which began on 11 January 2021. Online examinations for CAP, CCSP, CSSLP, HCISPP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSMP, and SSCP certifications were administered from February 15, 2021 – February 21, 2021.
The exam appointment availability was strictly based on the first-come 1st basis through the Pearson VUE. A maximum number of 2000 was set for the total examinations that were being delivered as a part of the pilot test.
They had also released a protocol FAQ sheet also for a number of questions about the registration process and requirements for the candidates.
