The Iliad from Irex technologies is a telephone if you agree that WiFi apart from being short-range and using unlicensed spectrum is conceptually indistiguishable from GSM / WCDMA. These things cost less than a smartphone and are just better for reading (BTW, where is the TIM Readius ?).
