Be', il mondo è bello perché è vario. D'altronde, Nick LaRocca non solo diffondeva lo stesso Verbo (diciamo, così per dire, che dal suo punto di vista si poteva capire...) ma si diffondeva in poco edificanti commenti sui musicisti africano-americani e sugli africano-americani in generale.
Peccato. Per conto mio, una volta appurato che la storia del jazz l'hanno fatta anche Don Costa, Henry Mancini e Peter De Rose, m'è rimasto l'amaro in bocca di una sconfitta "etnica". Sì, perché, tirando acqua al mio mulino, prima che Contri mi sputtanasse ogni credo, avevo sempre pensato che, in realtà, il jazz fosse una musica ebreo-afro-americana.
