I am the leaves becoming yellow and red I am the soft ligh and the fresh air I am the chestnuts on the paving I am the night dreams becoming more and more intense about places I've never seen I am the dance I've never danced I am the colours I've never seen I am the fragrance I've never smelt Tonight the dreaming brought me in the silence of the outside of a house under the trees where the air was sweet around and inside my heart and I felt I was in peace and then there was a golden dusty street in the sun and a crowd of people wearing colourful clothes Voices and laughs and smiles and many things to do And I felt Iike I've been there before I felt I was home There's a place, on some planet we both know, where a creature is living, in spite of you, in spite of me in spite of distance and time: it's called "us" and it's warm and tender, strong and full of life, innocent and wise, it's shining bright, Can you feel it right now?
