Questo post è dedicato a te

A te che sai ascoltarmi,

a te che sai consigliarmi,

a te che conosco appena ma è come se conoscessi da una vita,

a te che con pazienza ascolti i miei sfoghi,

a te che hai saputo spronarmi a tornare a scrivere, e che facendo ciò

mi ha fatto riscoprire una parte di me,

a te che mi sei vicina nonostante la distanza,

a te che stai attraversando un periodo triste, spero passi presto,

a te che sai usare le parole come pennelli e i pennelli come parole,

a te che riesci con le parole ad essere precisa e delicata al tempo stesso,

a te artista e scultrice del verbo,

a te che riesci a farmi ridere con cose semplici,

a te che in questo mondo di Grandi Fratelli e poca amicizia

riesci a essere splendido alfiere di questo sentimento poco coltivato…

Buona Pasqua…

a chi mi è amico,

a chi non mi sopporta,

a chi crede e a chi no,

a chi pensa di esser solo ma non lo è,

a chi non c’è più,

a chi piange nel dolore,

a chi soffre in silenzio,

a chi grida di gioia,

a chi pensa che la vita sia solo divertimento,

a chi sa che la vita in fondo passa presto,

a chi sa donare un sorriso tutto l’anno,

a chi sa essere la Pasqua di chi incontra sulla sua strada,

a chi lavora,

a chi studia,

a chi vorrebbe essere da tutt’altra parte,

al bambino che non vede l’ora di aprire le uova.

MY WAY…

And now, the end is near, and so I face, the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.
I've lived, a life that's full, I've traveled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.
I did, what I had to do, and saw it through, without exemption.
I planned, each charted course, each careful step, along the byway,
and more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off, more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up, and spit it out.
I faced it all, and I stood tall,
and did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing.
To think, I did all that, and may I say --- not in a shy way,
"Oh no, oh no not me,
I did it my way".

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things, he truly feels,
And not the words, of one who kneels.
The record shows, I took the blows ---
And did it my way!

I did it my way.
