Words sound sweet to me
rings of chain
pearls of necklace
to push forward slowly through fingers

Friendly words
they come from silence
and there they go back
alike the swallow that flies
steady against the wind
then
its oblique wing
and the bold
dive


They mean nothing
all alone are empty
receptacles
to be filled up
canvas
for painting
sounds
to be listened to
they have no meaning
without
our soul


The swallow flies
untiringly it flies
designing pleasant curves
and flying back


Rings of an endless
chain
everlasting pearls
of a necklace


But
only
the silent
words
are appropriate
to the game
just
those that don't affect
music
harmony


Like the swallow
motionless
for an endless
instant
of balance
steady in the wind
and I can see it well
white and black


Because from silence
I received peace
and to the silence
words have taken
me back
