 Ho riscoperto un album di qualche anno fa del grande MARK KNOPFLER, storico leader dei Dire Straits, dal titolo Sailing to Philadelphia. Ovviamente io vi consiglierei di ascoltare tutto l'album: ci sono canzone davvero belle (ad esempio: Balooney Again, The Last Laugh, Silvertown Blues) ed è difficile sceglierne una in particolare. Ma la mia attenzione il le mie emozioni sonostate attirate proprio dalla title-track Sailing To Philadelphia, caratterizzata dall'inconfondibile mix chitarra-voce di Mark Knopfler con il contrappunto vocale di James Taylor. Ascoltatela e chiudete gli occhi....vi sembrerà di viaggiare e di raggiungere il luogo dei vostri sogni...Mark Knopfler - Sailing To Philadelphia - I am jeremiah dixon I am a geordie boy A glass of wine with you, sir And the ladies Ill enjoy All durham and northumberland Is measured up by my own hand It was my fate from birth To make my mark upon the earth...
