Addyi is a pill known for its effective use in enhancing female libido. There are many controversies surrounding the Addyi side effects with alcohol. The amount of drink should be one or two differs on the type of liquor you are consuming.

  • First of all the time interval between medication and alcohol should be at least two hours.
  • If you are consuming alcohol more than the prescribed limit avoids taking pills.
  • If you took the pill before bedtime and then if you want to take a drink or two, FDA recommended not having them afterwards.

  • If you are drinking beer with 5% alcohol by volume then 12 ounces is the maximum limit.
  • For a wine which is 12% alcohol by volume 5 ounces of wine is enough.

Although the study shows that a limited amount can be okay with the medication, if possible you should try to avoid alcohol completely or take only sips of them if it’s a work-related or important commitment.
