Sulla via degli Aerosmith

Ritorna dopo un po' un brano legato all'ascolto della trasmissione di Carlo Lucarelli "DeeGiallo" in onda su Radio Deejay. Quella che ho sentito ieri sera era dedicata ai Run DMC gruppo hip hop americano di grandissimo successo che hanno contribuito enormemente alla popolarità del genere e anche artisti italiani come Jovanotti devono proprio a loro almeno una parte del successo e della carriera. La puntata era dedicata all'omicidio avvenuto nel 2002 di uno dei tre componenti del gruppo, Jam Master Jay avvenuta in uno studio di registrazione. Per far capire a chi non segue l'hip hop o non conoscesse i Run DMC chi fossero Lucarelli ha ricordato un video famosissimo in cui il gruppo è separato da una parete dagli Aerosmith e inizia una specie di battaglia musicale. La canzone del video è "Walk this way" che il gruppo di Steven Tyler ha inciso nel 1975 nell'album "Toys in the attic". I Run DMC ne hanno fatta una cover nel 1986 e da lì il video. Chiaramente la canzone del giorno è "Walk of life" e la metto nelle due versioni. Originale e cover con il famoso video. Buon ascolto e buon venerdì,
