1a canzone al giorno

Dopo Madonna oggi è la vosta di Michael Jackson a compiere 50 anni. Negli anni ottanta Jackson era semplicemente il re del pop. Ha venduto milioni e milioni di dischi e qualsiasi cosa sfornasse aveva un successo incredibile. Tanto per dare un numero (fonte wikipedia) l'album "Thriller" ha venduto 104 milioni di copie ed è il disco più venduto nella storia. Ricordo che quando uscì "Bad" comprai il vinile e l'ho finito da quante volte l'ho ascoltato. Ho anche rischiato di andare a Roma a vederlo ma i miei 16 anni non erano sufficienti... Con il passare degli anni al buon Michael ha fatto corto circuito la testa. Tra un intervento di chirurgia estetica, una denuncia per pedofilia, investimenti a dir poco bizzarri adesso è ridotto a muoversi in carrozzina. Ha una faccia che sembra di cera e ormai di nero deve essergli rimasto ben poco e men che meno il conto in banca. Resta il fatto che ha comunque lasciato un segno indelebile nel panorama musicale mondiale e mi sembra giusto, in occasione del suo mezzo secolo di vita, proporlo come personaggio del giorno. Scegliere tra le sue canzoni, soprattutto quelle degli album "Thriller", "Bad" e "Dangerous" non è facile. Alla fine ho scelto la più ovvia, ossia proprio "Thriller". E con il buon Jacko siamo arrivati anche a venerdì...
