Nel 2016 uscita l'album "Glory" di Britney Spears. La Spears sembrava destinata all'olimpo della musica ma ha dovuto combattere con problemi di dipendenza e familiari e invece di un'ascesa repentina la sua carriera è stata più una sorta di montagne russe. Grazie ai suoi fan l'album durante il lockdown è tornato in cima alle classifiche così la cantante ha realizzato una versione deluxe con alcuni inediti tra cui "Matches" che la vede collaborare con i Backstree Boys e che è uscito come singolo di lancio di questa ristampa ed è la canzone del giorno.
