Il prato di Massimo

In questi giorni ho rivisto qualche puntata di "Techetechetè" dopo il TG1 dellle venti. Sabato o domenica la puntata era dedicata a Massimo Ranieri e riascoltando i suoi successi ho fatto un controllino sul mio file per sapere se c'erano tutti. Ovviamente uno di quelli che ero sicuro di aver messo.... non c'era... Fino ad oggi ovviamente. Infatti la canzone del giorno è "Erba di casa mia" incisa da Massimo nel 1972 un anno direi.... fondamentale.... Buon ascolto!!!

Con un piccolo aiuto dagli amici

Ho usato il titolo di una canzone dei Beatles per introdurre il post di oggi che avevo in mente da venerdì e che l'amico Trussardone ha "sentito" con suo commento di ieri. Il 27 luglio scorso se n'è andato Gianni Nazzaro che ha avuto un discreto successo negli anni settanta e qualcosina anche negli ottanta per poi sparire. Come ho scritto nella risposta a Trussardone ho letto un articolo in cui la moglie di Nazzaro confessava le gravi difficoltà economiche in cui gravavano e probabilmente in cui adesso grava lei tanto da non avere i soldi per pagare i funerali. Hanno contribuito in maniera decisiva un gruppo di amici: Lino Banfi, Maurizio Costanzo, Pippo Franco, Sandro Giacobbe, Paola Delli Colli e Martufello oltre al maestro Pinuccio Pierazzoli e gli orchestrali che accompagnavano Nazzaro in tour. Che dire... un gran bel gesto. La canzone di oggi è cantata ovviamente da Gianni Nazzaro. Ho scelto il brano che nel 1974 presentò al Festival di Sanremo . Era "A modo mio" scritta da.... Claudio Baglioni e Antonio Coggio. Brano che Claudio inciderà lo stesso anno nell'album "E tu...". Riprendo anche l'aneddoto di Trussardone perchè merita... Nazzaro presenta nel 1987 alla giuria di Sanremo il brano "Perdere l'amore" che viene scartato. L'anno successivo la stessa canzone la presenta Massimo Ranieri che, come è noto, non solo viene ammessa ma vince anche. Punto. Riposa in pace Gianni.

La... strategia degli Iron Maiden

Come Mannarino anche gli Iron Maiden hanno fatto uscire il secondo singolo che anticipa il loro nuovo album in uscita il prossimo 3 settembre. Il disco, un doppio album di inediti si intitolerà "Senjustsu" mentre questo secondo estratto è "Stratego" la canzone del giorno per questa domenica. Vi anticipo già che per il 3 settembre sono previsti altri inediti... Anche se per il 4.... vediamo... Buon ascolto e buona domenica!!

Il fan J-Ax

Nuovo album e nuovo singolo per J-Ax. Doveva essere un repack con qualche inedito e alla fine è venuto fuori un intero album nuovo con undici nuovi brani. Il titolo del disco è "Surreale" mentre il primo singolo e anche canzone del giorno è "Sono un fan". Ci sta che sia l'ennesimo weekend all'insegna delle novità. Vediamo.... Buon ascolto!!

La sorpresa di Carosone

Ho appena finito, in zona cesarini, di vedere il film "Ma che bella sorpresa" con Claudio Bisio e FRank Matano, ambientato a Napoli. La colonna sonora è tutta partenopea con Renato Carosone grande protagonista e con Pino Daniele per il gran finale. Ho scelto come canzone del giorno uno dei brani del film. Scritto nel 1956 ha, tra i suoi interpreti, appunto Renato Carosone. Si intitola "Chella lla" Buonanotte.

Ieri ci ha salutati definitivamente Charlie Watts il batterista dei Rolling Stones. Lo ha fregato il cuore dopo essere sopravvissuto ad un cancro alla gola all'inizio degli anni duemila e all'eroina degli anni ottanta, unico "strappo" alla sua immagine di persona tranquilla e pacata e lonatana dagli stereotipi di rockstar contrariamente ai due satanassi Jagger e Richards. La canzone ovviamente è dei Rolling Stones e ho scelto "Stealing my heart"  uno degli inediti della raccolta "Forty licks" uscita nel 2002. Nuon ascolto e un ultimo saluto a Charlie!

Ringrazio la Paolona per la segnalazione sulla versione italiana della canzone di ieri. Pensavo di metterla oggi ma poi ho scoperto di averlo già fatto nel 2012.... Così ho ripiegato su un duetto inedito di caratura mondiale. Ho appena finito di guardare il film "The big wedding" su Rai Uno con Robert De Niro. Il brano finale era cantato da Michael Bublè e si intitola "Save the last dance for me". L'assurdo dei Guns

Oggi sono tornato a consultare il sito sulle novità per vedere cosa mi sono perso in queste tre settiman. Qualcosa è uscito. Qualosa uscirà... Come dice il titolo del post la canzone di oggi arriva da... Ikea. L'ho sentita oggi pomeriggio mentre ero a prendere alcune bricciche e grazie a Shazam ho scoperto titolo e interpreti. Si intitola "The dust on my halo" del gruppo The Vow ed incisa nel 2012 nell'album "For a dreamer". Chris e la sua signora... in rosso

Rieccoci in diretta. Ieri rientro dall'Elba e la canzone di oggi arriva.... da lì.... Una sera mi sono visto con due amici / colleghi e rispettive famiglie a cena al Chioschetto di Norsi. Mentre mangiavamo passava in filodiffusione una playlist di canzoni anni ottanta e così è salatata fuori l'esistenza di quesato blog e la mia passione per le canzoni anno ottanta. Una di quelle passate che non conoscevo o meglio di cui non sapevo il titolo è questa "The lady in red" di Chris De Burgh dall'album "Into the light" uscito nel 1986. La canzone è dedicata alla moglie e al loro primo incontro al quale lei si presentò vestita di rosso. Buon ascolto e ben ritrovati!!
